445th AAA AW Battalion
That's my father, David Borden (Borodiansky) seated in front in the picture to the right. Although he hardly spoke of his experiences unless they were somewhat humerous, I cannot fathom what he and his buddies went through during one of the 20th century's most horrific period for our young men and women in the United States.

After his death in 1999, my brother and I visited with the remaining active members of the 445th AAA AW BN at their last formal reunion in Delaware. I was even more proud meeting these veterans of the greatest generation and hearing their stories....some about their war experiences and some about Dad. I dedicate this site to them and their families and hopefully this will serve as their documentary so that they live with us forever.
